Our Work

You can see information about current classroom topics in the children's section but the best way to get some flavour of all of the exciting things which are going on in school is by browsing through the photographs and scrapbooks in the school entrance lobby.

Currently you can read abut Key Stage One's "Classroom Dig" where they were archaeologists for a day. You can find out about "St. Mary's Charity Wheeled Event" to support Mick Dowling's "Miles for Mick Campaign" and you can look back on the very last day of the summer term and the Leavers' Celebration.

At the end of each academic year all of the news and memories of the year are taken down and placed in our "Days in the Life of Saint Mary's First School 2006-2008" which is also kept on the shelves in the entrance lobby next to some comfortable chairs!. Here you can look back over recent years and reminisce.

The school has great stores of photographs going back over the years which might bring back very distant memories for some young people and their families!
