Hello and welcome!

Here at Saint Mary's we have a shared commitment to live out our mission through our words and actions. Our community of children, parents, teachers and families strive to live together in community, showing love and forgiveness towards each other. This has been summarised by our children in the following way:

"We love, we learn, we live."

We extend a warm welcome to families in our community who share our Christian values.

Our school occupies a beautiful site in the very heart of the Tyne Valley,dating back to 1832. However, we provide the only Catholic education for children between the ages of four and nine in an extensive area covering the parishes of Minsteracres, Otterburn, Bellingham, Swinburne, Corbridge, Hexham, Haydon Bridge and Haltwhistle.

We firmly believe that every child is special and our role is to empower them to achieve their full potential in every way which makes them more fully human.

We are thrilled to be able to show you, through this website,a little of what goes on in our school  and how the children's lives are enriched by their living, loving and learning together.
