Our school is situated

in the heart of Hexham

just opposite the Sele Park

and within walking distance of all of the town’s facilities.

We are safely tucked away

at the top of the lane between

St. Mary’s church and Burnbrae doctor’s surgery.

You will see our front

entrance as you come

up the lane.

The children’s entrance is

at the bottom of the school yard, next to the Nursery.

As you come in you will see displays of children’s work..  

...and information

about what they are learning at the moment.

Our hall is regularly used

for Assemblies, P.E. lessons, clubs,meetings and many,many morethings.

Here you can see it set up

ready for lunch to be served. 

In the library, round the

corridors, in the classrooms…

Small group lessons take place the upstairs music room for parentsand children.

Whole class lessons

or small group teaching happen  in the computer room.

Our classes  are named after

the saints who brought

Christianity to Northumberland......

.....Wilfrid, Aidan, Oswald, Bede and  Cuthbert.  

You will see their names

on the classroom doors.

Year Four children chose the

names for each class.

They wrote something to

describe who they were

and why they are

important for us today.
